Short Films...

I really enjoy short films! In my opinion, they take a lot more genius to make than a full-length feature, because they are only 30-45 minutes (or less) in length. The script and plot is very precise and the acting superb. Every expression, every word spoken has to count for something to get the over-all message across. Films of this nature are incredibly artistic and generally pack a real punch- bearing a social statement or an observation about the way we live our lives. They can be intense, sad or entertaining, but all of them encourage you to think. Here are some short films I reccomend:

'Taking the Wheel'- a comedy about growing old with John Cleese
'The Last Farm'- an elderly man parts with all he holds dear
'Tama Tu'- young men coping with the stress of battle
'Victoria Para Chino'- about the suffering of Mexican immigrants

Some short films address religion. I am a writer who is somewhat philosophical. Someday, I would like to try my hand at creating short-film scripts. I have a lot of ideas...

If YOU could make a short film, what would the title be? What would your movie be about? Who would star in it??

I would shoot a short film about a wedding, and all of the mixed emotions and dynamics included with it. It would star Elisha Cutherbert and Channing Tatum as the couple, and the title would be "The Unity Candle" or something equally simple.

May be a short film about some dinner party incident - something dramatic happens that changes the lives of the people in the party!

About your questions:
Yeah its called a Bindi in Hindi. They call it different things in different Indian languages!

According to the census -
Although 77.7% of the people are Hindus, India is also home to the second-largest Muslim population in the world (16.2%). India also contains the majority of the world's Zoroastrians (0.01%). Other religious groups include Christians (2.3%), Sikhs (1.84%), Buddhists (0.76%), Jains (0.40%), Jews and Bahá'ís.

40 minutes movie about "Attitudes Change Lives". I may star it, or I may not. It maybe about about 1 man, or woman..will show him/her in the same era, and will start from the end. :-)

Hi Jody, A wedding would be a fun short film to do!

Brian, I figured yours would be something real. :o)

Quasar9, Would your film be something scientific?

Wriju, Thanks for answering! I like your idea for a film.

Brainsyke, This sounds really neat!

I would like to make short films about real life. I would write scripts that appeal to the spiritual side of people. I would like to make a documentary film about equestrian therapy someday. Doesn't hurt to dream does it? Thanks for brainstorming with me. :o)

Hi Trailady,
my film would at present be termed unscientific, as in metaphysical or beyond science.

it would show the Spirit Realm and our higher selves (inner selves) flowing in and out of the physical 'reality' or world of matter.

You do know that in physics it is said those in a 2D (flat) world would perceive electromagnetic flux to be weaker than it is in 3D

And that in other (measures)dimensions gravity may not be as weak as it is in 3D (our reality) but be like electromagnetic flux, visible ...

We are only one step away from the energy flux or life force, you + I call Spirit or Soul ...
something clearly absent from dead bodies or inanimate things.

Not withstanding there is still lower level cellular life still going on even when the human spirit has departed the body ...
