HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Today and everyday, honor belongs to all the lovely women who endured the discomforts of pregnancy and who through blood, sweat and tears brought life into this world. I also wish to remember the Mothers whose hearts are big enough to raise another woman's child as if it were her own. Thanks goes out to those who consistently sacrifice in order to make the world better for even one child. The body changes, stretch marks appear and gray hairs will come in time, but enjoy your babies. Love and nurture them. Speak many words of encouragement to the children of your heart. Touch and hold them for they are gone too soon... Children, do not take your Mother's love for granted and do not hesitate to praise her kindness, for she has given much.

Blessings to You All!! :o)

Happy mother's day, sister!

Great words. And on this day, a shout out to my wife, who's a labor and delivery nurse - a mother who is helping others become mothers.

Anand, SO true!! :o)

Andy, that is really neat! I also help deliver babies, but I am a Doula/Labor Coach. If I were a nurse I would work on the maternity ward. There is something very sacred about witnessing a birth.

Beautiful words. My mother spent a life time to groom a fellow like me. I owe my success in every aspect of life to her directly or indirectly. What she has done, God willing ,shall go beyond our life time.

very true....a Mother's love is something that no one can explain,
it is made of deep devotion
and of sacrifice and pain.
Happy mother's day.

As we praise and thank our mothers, let us also thank and praise God who instilled that love in mothers.

As I read my comment, I didn't mean not to praise our mothers. They have done so much to protect and guide us away from harm in any form. They have the undying compassion and patience to a depth as their position in life demands. It wasn't an accident that they have the character traits and instincts they do. They were fitted for the job by a wise and caring Creator. No one else could have thought of all the necessities that He did when He designed the woman and built into her the abilities that her office required in perpetuating the human race. Every woman who is content to fill her alloted place has had her children and grandchildren and foster children and adopted neighborhood kids, and as far as her loving influence extends, "rise up and call her blessed." Those who refused to accept that alloted place in life, have experienced only a small sliver of what they could have had. All the money, celebrity, and prestige in the world compare nothing to the joy of humbly filling the place God designs us to fill. Thanks Moms, and thank you Lord Jesus.
